Edward O’Bryan is a Melbourne based orthopaedic surgeon specialising in hip and knee surgery, with expertise in robotic joint replacement and advanced sports knee reconstruction.

 

He provides hip and knee replacement surgery for older patients, complex ACL and ligament reconstruction for active individuals, and performance focused injury management for elite athletes.

Alongside his clinical practice, he maintains a strong academic focus in orthopaedic research. He is currently undertaking a PhD dedicated to developing robotic technology for patella replacement surgery and advancing cartilage regeneration techniques aimed at improving long term knee preservation and surgical outcomes.
